Classic Christmas Gifts for Little Kids

Classic Christmas Gifts for Little Kids
How about going a little ‘old-school with your children’s gifts this year?
I absolutely love all the new toys and games out there, all the well known and well televised characters our children have grown up with but sometimes I just wish life was altogether simpler for them.

Perhaps because I myself grew up in the dark ages!!

Well, I’ve looked around and have absolutely fallen in love with the toys and games above – it’s as if I’ve stepped back in time.

So, although H and Little E will undoubtedly receive all the big brand-named toys which are advertised throughout all the little kiddy programmes, or the ones they sit together and circle in the toy catalogues, but I have decided to add a few of the old classics into the mix too.

What about you?

What are you popping in their stockings this year??

The Fisher Price Classics Record Player is a toy I’m rather fond of, as I had one myself.

Great list you’ve put together here! I’m sure my nan had one of those record players in the toybox at her house and I loved my harmonica!
O has a fair amount of colourful plastic stuff, but all he ever really plays with is his wooden ramp racer. So pretty much all his Christmas stuff is wooden kitchen/food things as he also likes to pretend feeding people from his hand so I thought he could do with some plates too lol

OLD SCHOOL ROCKS! Great Selection! and what a great idea, Seriously. The old school toys are wonderful and in some cases far sturdier for than what is made today. I think I will be purchasing the ABC spinning top for my nephew this year. Thank you for sharing these great ideas.

My pleasure, and I’m sorry for the late reply! I think ou are right about the quality of the toys. And I do hope your nephew gets the spinning top. It looks so cool doesn’t it!! xxx
