Vita Coco Kids : Review & Giveaway

Nine times out of ten, when my little girls ask for a drink – it is plain old water that they get, but there are other times when for ease of situation or travelling etc that we like to mix things up a bit and offer them a variety of other drinks.

With recent news reports highlighting and bringing to the forefront the growing public concerns regarding our everyday sugar consumption it’s become even more important to me to find an easy and practical solution for my children when it comes to their diet.

So when Vita Coco Kids asked if I wanted to try their current range I was rather excited!

I must admit, I swear by Vita Coco Coconut Water myself, as a hydration aide and find it works wonders for those days when your feeling a little worse for wear and need a natural pick me up.

So to discover recently that they also have a range designed specifically for kids, I was rather intrigued and keen to find out more.

Vita Coco Kids is made from naturally fruity flavoured coconut water and has around 20% less sugar and calories than other UK children’s leading drinks brands!!  It’s currently available in two totally delicious flavours: Apple & Blackcurrant and Mango & Pineapple.  The girls favourite though seems to be the Apple & Blackcurrant.

Vita Coco Kids is packed full of essential electrolytes meaning it’s naturally hydrating, which is great to keep our little ones fuelled up and focused through their busy days.  And a perfect size for lunch bags to boot!

Vita Coco Kids is made from 100% natural coconut water, and has no added colourings or preservatives.  Again, something parents are keenly aware of and on the look out for!

Vita Coco Kids is available from many major supermarket and high street chains and a host of leading independent retailers also, but for more information about where to buy, please just visit their website here: VitaCocoKids

And while we’re on the subject of the website – can I just say – WOW!

All too often, sites are difficult to navigate and its hard to really find the information you’re after – but not in this case.  Not only is it easy to navigate and beautiful to look at with it’s brilliant, bright colours, but they’ve even got a section of the site as a designated ‘kids club’ area.  Here you will find fun games, colouring pages and puzzles to play with your little ones!

They even have a free height chart you can send off for, and each pack currently comes with collectable animal cards.

But as they say – the proof is in the pudding.

And my two little puddings certainly loved it!

As did I when I subtly sneaked a sip from each of their cartons! So tasty! Shhhh!!

They actually enjoyed them so much that they had a tantrum when we had to prise them from their little hands for bath time!

Another thing I really loved is the idea that you can freeze the cartons!

How cool is that!  This will be absolutely perfect to dish out as alternative ice pops to them and their little friends when they cmd round for all our summer BBQs on those lovely (and much sought after now!) long, warm summer days!

So as the Vita Coco crab says…..

Hope you enjoy them as much as I did, ahem – I mean as the kids did!!
