Well this is it. My first post, on my first blog. I’m a total beginner!! I must admit it is all a little daunting, but perhaps I will get the gist before long. Well, fingers crossed anyway!
So I suppose I ought to say hello and tell you a little bit about me and why I’ve started to write this.
My name is Steph. I’m 37 years old, heading fast it seems, to the big 4-0! (I’ve already briefed my husband that I would like him to throw me a very large yacht party to celebrate this occasion, but alas, at the moment it seems to be falling upon deaf ears – perhaps i will revisit this again in the future!)
So, as I eluded to above, I am married. I live with my husband, Michael, who I met way back in 2002, whilst working abroad for a sailing and water sports company. It was obviously love at first sight (!) as we went on to get married in 2009. And nearly five years on from our big day, we’ve been blessed with two beautiful daughters; Holly, aged 3, and Ella, aged 10 months.
I think the idea behind this blog is so that in years to come, and when my brain has completely been turned to mush (all mothers out there will know about ‘baby brain’), I can look back with my girlies, and reminisce about all the good times and adventures we’ve had together.
And so, I’m pretty much using this as my ‘test post’, so I will love you and leave you and see what the rest of the week has in store for me.
