Holding On Tightly – My Captured Moment

My Captured Moment this week when my beautiful little Holly Ava was only a few days old.

I remember as I sat on our sofa one evening, most probably in a fair amount of discomfort after my C-section and just gazing down at my precious little bundle as she slept soundly on a snuggly blanket next to me.

I remember looking at her in wonderment, watching and listening to her steady breathing, just mesmerised by the tiny baby who at the thought that she was ours.

I reached over and placed my finger in the palm of her hand. And even though she was sleeping, her reflexes kicked in and she gently grasped my finger.

And at that moment, as a new mummy, and with my little baby girl holding on tightly to my finger with her whole tiny hand, my heart instantly melted and I was smitten.

Yes, definite high five to your designer. I can wait for you to ask your publisher, it’s no rush. And if you don’t mind, I’d love to insert a few of your thoughts into my Cover Love post, if possible. Is it OK to email you? I didn’t see any contact info here on your blog. My email address is thtovacergirl (at) gmail (dot) com. Thanks.
