H’s very first nativity to be precise.
She had only just really turned two
I was so overwhelmingly proud of my little girl when I sat back in the second row of the hall to watch.
Her class of fellow two years olds filed in, all shyly in a line, then all huddled together just off to the side of the stage.
A teacher beckoned to them from across the other side whilst another gave words of encouragement within the group.
H was the first onto the stage.
All dressed up as a little sheep.
Love her!
They sat down and luckily got through the songs just in time before she spotted me, shouted ‘mummy’ with a beaming wide grin across her face and toddled straight off the stage to coma and sit with me!
Luckily I had the afternoon off work to take her home and spend the rest of the day with her.
I left; a very proud mummy!
