On Location with Panda & Ping – Behind the Scenes

So you may have seen one of my recent posts (read here) where I got to chat with the lovely Pippa of the new fun new kids pyjamas and bed linens line, Panda & Ping, which was launched only last week.

And as I mentioned in the post, we were invited along to their day of filming and my two girls were asked to be models!

Holly was uber excited by this, I went into ‘extremely proud mummy’ mode and Ella really didn’t have a clue what was going on!

We arrived at the location and the kids all got to run around, meeting one another and playing with a whole host of toys to keep them busy and occupied, whist Pippa helped the photographer and stylist with organising each of the shots and grabbing props left right and centre.

Then of course, there were other mum’s who were accompanying their super cute little models too – who it was lovely to chat to over a lovely warm cup of tea.

The first shots were to be taken outside. So we dressed the children in their fun and fabulous pyjamas, popped on their coats and then wrapped them up a little more in the snuggly panda and ping blankets too.

At first it took a little while for the kids to warm up – in both senses of the word. Firstly it was a pretty brisk autumnal day and they got cold ever so quickly, but also, because they were all a little camera shy and hesitant. But, with the odd bride of chocolate, sweets and flapjacks, they soon got into the mood.

All except Ella that was. Unfortunately she had woken rather early that morning, and she was grumpy, grouchy, clingy and very ready for her bed!

Luckily, the location was close to our home so I was able to call my husband to come and get her.

So, with the remaining children, there was lots of fun to be had running through the woodland trees, hunting for acorns and the biggest sticks they could find, swinging on rope swings, and playing in teepees.

Once the photographer had clinched the shots she was after, it was time to go inside.

Which was perfect timing as the little ones (and us mumies) were getting a little chilly.

So next up it was the indoor shoot.

This was Holly’s favourite bit as it meant lots and lots of something she is very good at.

Jumping up and down on a bed!

We had such a lovely morning, totally different and so amazing to catch up with Pippa and help her in her new business.

This was our day behind the scenes of the Panda and Ping photo shoot in pictures….

Oh wow what an incredible opportunity and such a fun day! The photos from behind the scenes are so lovely. It looks like so much fun and so cute that they did a little outdoors shoot for it as well. I love the look of the pjs. They’re so sweet. I’m off to have a peek if they’re up. Evie’s growing so fast we’re in desperate need of some new ones. Thanks so much for linking up to #Whatevertheweather 🙂 x

Aww, so cute! The girls look lovely at the photo shoot, great that they were so excited to take part, I know that my oldest would be clingy and not want to do it, but littlest would love dressing up and running around. The tent shot looks really cute and I love those wellies. A shame that it was a bit chilly, but hopefully they got some great shots anyway.
Thanks so much for linking up to #Whatevertheweather 🙂 x
P.s. Please could you pop the Whatever the Weather badge on your post as per the linky rules, thank you! x

Awww, how amazing!! I love looking at behind the scenes shot because I’m always curious as to what goes on. Love those flamingo pyjamas too. Adult sizes needed!! The only thing missing from this post, is possibly a shot of the leaves on the floor, preferably taken by you lying on the floor to get the best angle 😉
